· Provide an overview of SharePoint Designer 2007, with an emphasis on new and improved features.

· Compare the features and benefits of Office SharePoint Designer 2007 with Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003.

· Provide a first hand look at SharePoint Designer 2007 in action, demonstrating its new capabilities.

· Compare the features and benefits of Office SharePoint Designer 2007 with Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003.

· Introduce Microsoft Expression, a suite of tools for creative designers that gives you the freedom to bring your vision to reality and boosts developer collaboration in the delivery of rich user experiences for the Web, Windows Vista applications and beyond.

The presenter for this technology briefing will be Jeff Nuckolls. As a member of the Microsoft US Education - Specialist Technology Unit , Jeff Nuckolls is a Sr. Technologies with a focus on the Microsoft Application Platform and Development Tools. He has over 13 years of software development and enterprise application architecture experience. The last 4 years Jeff has been dedicated to the Education vertical here at Microsoft. Prior to joining Microsoft, Jeff played a key role in .NET developer evangelism as the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) Regional Director for the Heartland District (https://www.microsoft.com/rd). Jeff’s regional MSDN duties included leading .NET developer training events, road-shows, community User Groups, conference keynotes & presentation, as well as contributing author of several MSDN articles, whitepapers, blogs, and technical editor/reviewer of some of the first .NET developer related books published.

The presenter for this technology briefing will be Roxie Mitchell. Roxie Mitchell has been an Information Worker Solution Specialist at Microsoft for almost 6 years now. She focuses on Office 2007 and other desktop products as well as Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS), Windows SharePoint Services, and Live Communications Server. Roxie works exclusively with Higher Education and K-12 customers nationwide.
