PowerTip: Find Free Commands in PowerShell 5

Summary: Learn how to find free commands in Windows PowerShell 5.0.

Hey, Scripting Guy! Question I would like to customize my command line experience in Windows PowerShell 5.0, but I don’t want to write
a lot of code. How can I find available commands that are not bound to any keyboard chord sequence?

Hey, Scripting Guy! Answer Use the Get-PSReadlineKeyHandler and look for unbound commands:

(Get-PSReadlineKeyHandler).where({$_.key -eq 'unbound'})

If I have say 300 files that are encrypted is there any template script that will allow me to feed
the file name and those passwords in, in say batch script mode so I don’t have to respond to

a prompt that asks for manual entry of the passphrase to decrypt each and every file. I have this
task for literally 100’s of files.

    Thanks for your Graciousness !
