Hey, Scripting Guy! Answer Use the Get-Process cmdlet, pipe the results to the Select-Object cmdlet, and specify the Name property
           and the –Unique switch:

Get-Process | select name -Unique

    Get-Process | Select Name -Unique | Measure-Object

    A difference of 32 on my system, more than I would have guessed.
