Hey, Scripting Guy! Question How I can use Windows PowerShell to find the current connection profile on my laptop running Windows 8?

Hey, Scripting Guy! Answer Use the Get-NetConnectionProfile cmdlet:

Get-NetConnectionProfile

    Microsoft.Management.Infrastructure.CimInstance – Can we do something with this to get this command in Windows 7. I am sorry if this is a Ir-relevant.

    @Jon! Hi! Indeed this command is in Windows 8 and 8.1,

    Get-NetConnectionProfile | GM

    Microsoft.Management.Infrastructure.CimInstance the namespace is rootStandardCimV2 – which is not available in Windows 7. Through .NET class it should be possible. Some one please correct me if I am wrong!!!
