Summary: Scripting Wife reveals her ideal North America TechEd 2013 Schedule

It is time for TechEd NA 2013. I have to tell you I am super excited to be able to attend such an awesome conference and to get to talk with so many wonderful people. As some of you may know Ed works from home and I am retired from public work. That means we are in the house together just about 24/7. I love Ed dearly, however I do miss going to work every day and interacting with co-workers, customers and vendors. Conferences and User group meetings gives me the chance to visit and help others in the PowerShell community. I volunteer to stay at the Scripting Guys booth all the hours that the booths are open to the public because I truly enjoy the interaction with the attendees who stop by for a chat. I will leave long enough to go have lunch and to make a quick trip past the other booths to say hello to friends that are staffing the other booths. But I can promise you if you stop by the Scripting Guys booth and I am not there I won’t be gone long and won’t be too far away.

With the previous information in mind, you now I will not leave the booth to attend sessions. But I have created a schedule of sessions to give you an idea of what I would attend if I were an attendee in the regular sense. You will notice there are some overlaps. What you have to do is just go through the sessions and add to your schedule what you would like to see, then when you are finished you can choose. Also you can change your mind. For example, if you have the session at 10:15 on Thursday scheduled like I do with Mark in one room and Greg in another what do you do? Hard to choose isn’t it? Look at the before and after slots and decide which one makes sense. If the room you are in before one session is near the room for Mark, you may want to hurry from your previous session straight over to Marks so you can get a seat. If you are on the opposite side of the convention center then you may want to choose whichever one Is closest to you Those are the kinds of factors that I look at when deciding.

So here it is my schedule if I were an Attendee. My next blog will be about the things Ed and I are actually doing and attending. Have fun and see you in New Orleans.
