Hey, Scripting guy, thanks for this tip, but I had an issue starting VLC.
I am trying to run vlc.exe using it’s full path, but it does not start minimized. Any thoughts ?

    start-process C:vlc-2.1.3-win32vlc-2.1.3vlc.exe -WindowStyle Minimized

    1. Could it be a missing character?
      C:\vlc-2.1.3-win32vlc-2.1.3vlc.exe -WindowStyle Minimized

Any reason why this doesn’t work with microsoft outlook? Using

start-process ‘name of email.msg’ -windowstyle minimized

Works substituting .msg file with a .pdf and other programs. any help or workaround for opening .msg files minimized?
