Tech Ed 2010 Interview with Astrid McClean

Here’s the sixth Video Interview (of 10) that I was able to conduct last week at Tech Ed 2010 in New Orleans.  This interview happens to be with Astrid McClean, Senior Technical Product Manager with the Exchange Server team.

In Astrid’s role, she covers High Availability and Storage in Exchange Server 2010.  With the introduction of Database Availability Groups in Exchange Server 2010 RTM, customers were able to easily implement a highly available Exchange Server 2010 infrastructure.  As great as this new capability was, there is always room for improvement.  In SP1, we are introducing a new feature called Continuous Replication Block Mode which will make the HA even better.  In this interview, Astrid explains what this is, how it works and why we should care.
