Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 Launch

Calling all IT Pros, Calling All IT Pros!!!!!  The website for Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 Launch just went live yesterday!!!

If you are interested in attending the Launch event in a city near you, please note the main Launch website is: https://www.microsoft.com/business/2010events/ITProEvents.aspx. 

Once you hit the web site, I want to make sure you know the important components for registering.  In the picture below, I have place three arrows.  The Blue Arrow points out where you click to register for what we call the “Banner” or “Key” Launch cities.  These cities are listed when you click the section that the Green Arrow is pointing to.  To make it easier for you, I am also including that city list in my blog.  If your city does not show up in this list, please click on the area where the Red Arrow is pointing to.  That will take you to another list where you can register for non “Ancillary” cities [By the way, there are more of the latter than the former].

The “Banner” events are all day events where the IT Pro and Developer Tracks run concurrently.  The “Ancillary” Events are also all day events, but the IT Pro Track takes place in the morning followed by the Developer Track in the afternoon.  These events are more like our TechNet / MSDN Events than like a traditional launch event.  The content in the Ancillary cities will also be slightly abbreviated as we will be condensing a about 5 hours of content in 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
