Ad-hoc TechNet Event in Phoenix - Recap

On September 14th, I made a post about the TechNet Event taking place on September 26th in the Microsoft office (https://blogs.technet.com/haroldwong/archive/2007/09/14/technet-events-in-phoenix.aspx).  I just wanted to post a very quick recap.

We had 59 people show up to hear about Windows Server 2008, System Center and Forefront.  We provided muffins, coffee, water and soda for snacks.  We also paid for parking for all our attendees so that it would be "easier" on everyone.  In chatting with folks that morning, I got good feedback and it definitely sounded like people were happy with the content and the event.  The only negative feedback I received was with the event location.  With all the construction taking place on Central, the traffic in and out was not the easiest.  However, as I mentioned in my earlier post(s), we chose the Microsoft office because there was no cost to rent the space - we event spend money we didn't have to buy food and pay for parking ($1 / half hour).  I guess we'll never win on this point.  :-(

Thank you to all those who were able to make the event and I really appreciate your support of TechNet events!!!!
