Exchange Server 2007 Labcast Series (Part 2 of 8) Questions and Answers Log (02-12-07)

Even though there was only 1 main question asked during the 2nd Labcast, I decided to post the Q&A Log anyways.  During the lab some of the folks experienced problems running the scripts created and I wanted to also address that real quick.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Exchange Server 2007 Labcast Series (Part 2 of 8) Questions and Answers Log (02-12-07)

Question: How do you determine how many Exchange mailbox databases to use? Is it based on the number of mailboxes?

Answer: There are a lot of factors that you could use. There isn't one "right" way. It will depend on the size of mailbox and how large your want the database itself to grow.

Question: What did I do wrong on the script that I keep getting an error???

Answer: When creating scripts, it is very important that we use the proper spacing and that we spell commands and options correctly. In looking at the lab manual and the actual scripts that were being edited during this lab, I found many areas that mistakes could be made (in fact I made a few of them myself when going too fast). I cannot point to one specific spot, but I think most folks found the 1 or 2 typos.
