TechNet Event: Fort Collins, CO - October 11, 2005

The latest TechNet Event in Fort Collins took place on Tuesday, October 11, 2005.  Other than the snow and very cold temperatures (brrr), everything went well.  I did have a couple of questions come up during the Event that I did not have an answer for and will research and get one posted.  The questions are as follows:

1. An HTTP Endpoint in SQL 2005 - Is it a binary or XML based communication method?
2. Does Merge Replication in SQL 2005 still require NETBIOS?

Please let me know if I am missing any unanswered questions or if I did not get the question correct.

I also spoke briefly about User Groups and a few folks mentioned the North Colorado .Net User Group.  You can find their website here: https://www.northcolorado.net/.  If anyone else is aware of active User Groups in the Fort Collins area, please feel free to send me an email and I will notate the information in another post.

PS: I found a great place for sushi and decided to have dinner, lunch and then dinner again at the place.  The name of the restaurant is SueHiro on 223 Linden St. - sorry, but I just had to pass along information about great sushi restaurants when I find them.
