Windows Vista Announced

It is official!  What was codenamed "Longhorn" has now been given an official name.  It is Windows Vista!!

Here’s the Microsoft Press Release.

The Beta should be available on August 3rd, 2005.  If you are a TechNet Plus subscriber, you will get the Beta as part of your normal updates (should be in the September update - cross your fingers).
