Ich verwende keine öffentlich PC´s um meine Firmen E-Mails abzurufen. Bestenfalls um ein paar Informations Seiten aus dem Internet abzurufen. Aber das war es auch schon. Es könnte ja auf dem Gerät ein Keylogger installiert sein. Wer weiß schon wo sich überall diese kleinen Programme rumtreiben, die sämtliche Eingaben über die Tastatur aufzeichnen.

Interessant finde ich es aber, dass Hackertools jetzt schon Ihren Weg in den allgemeinen Versandhandel finden. So werden neben den üblichen USB-Gimmicks wie Kaffee-Wärmer, Notebook-Lampe und Hamster Rad jetzt auch schon Keylogger Appliances angeboten.

Kleine Stecker, die sich unauffällig zwischen Tastatur-Kabel und USB port bzw. PS/2 Stecker einbringen lassen. Hand auf´s Herz: Wer überprüft schon regelmäßig wo das Tastaturkabel wirklich hinführt bzw. endet. Auch bei den Notebooks schaut man eher selten auf die Rückseite der Dockingstation.

Nicht, dass diese Zwischenstecker so besonders neu wären. Aber der Vertrieb als Spaßartikel erreicht jetzt doch eine neue, ungeahnte QUalität. Zu finden sind die Stecker nämlich unter:

Der USB Keylogger ist sogar nocheinmal leistungsfähiger und benutzerfreundlicher (für den Hacker):

Ich mag ja auf Grund meines Jobs schon ein bisschen paranoid sein. Aber wie man sieht gibt es immer wieder neue Überaschungen, vor denen man gefeit sein sollte. Gut nur, dass ich keine externe Tastatur verwende, sondern direkt in den Notebook hinentippe. Ob ich den wohl mal aufschrauben sollte um nachzusehen was sich alles im inneren verbirgt?
