Why can´t I enter the License Agreement Number ?

After the first installation or an upgrade to a licensed version from an Evaluation installation Forefront Server products must be activated by entering the “License Agreement Number” (LAN), this code is provided along with the contract.

Recently we have got some calls from clients receiving errors while entering the LAN, where the LAN was 8 digits long and contained a letter before the 7 digits number, (e.g. V1234567, with a “V” in front). Antigen and Forefront Server products require only the numerical part of the LAN. To correctly activate the product we dropped the “V” and introduced the LAN as a 7-digit number (e.g. “1234567” without the initial letter).
