Windows Thin PC

If you have been a Microsoft Enterprise customer or have/entitled to Software assurance, you would be happy to find out that we have announced plans for Windows Thin PC, which would be an upcoming addition to the software assurance benefits. Windows Thin PC is a smaller footprint, locked down version of Windows 7, designed to allow customers to repurpose their existing PCs as thin clients. PCs with Windows Thin PC will NOT require the VDA license that regular thin clients will need to access VDI desktops. Windows Thin PC is expected to be available for download from the Microsoft Connect Site in Q1 2011
