As you know that we have finally released the SP1 to our OEM (original equipment manufacturers), ISV and IHV’s today and hence the dawn of a new era where we have single Service pack for both our clients and server product, making planning, testing, and deployments relatively easier. SP1 also includes client-side support for RemoteFX and Dynamic Memory, two new virtualization features enabled in Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. On February 16th 2011 Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 will be available for MSDN and TechNet Subscribers as well as Volume License customers.
On February 22nd 2011, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 will become generally available for folks to download via the Microsoft Download Center and available on Windows Update.
