Microsoft Services Consulting Role


During the past week - I have been meeting up a lot of Microosft Parnters and invariently the discussion quickly moves, where I explain the new MCS (Microsoft Consulting Services) Services Lines. This is basically a relignment to a lot of feedback we have been recieving as MIcrosoft form both our external/internal customers and partners alike, the 7 services lines are as follows:


SL1 - ITAP (IT Architecture and Planning)
SL2 - Core Infrastructure Optimization (AD, PKI, FCS etc)
SL3 - Business Productivity IO (e.g. MOSS, Exchange, OCS etc)
SL4 - Application Platform IO (e.g. Biztalk, SQL etc)
SL5 - Business Applications
SL6 - Industry Solutions (e.g. CCF, CSF, HMC etc)
SL7 - Support and Health (e.g. Microsoft Premier Support)


These new SL (service lines) are in alignment to our broader IO (infrastructure optimization) Model and I hope that through them we would be able to better help our parnters and end cusotmers. HTH
