Katarzyna Puchala’s Biography

Hello, my name is Katarzyna Puchala; I have been a Program Manager in the Exchange Unified Messaging team since October 2008. Here, I have helped design and manage the development of Exchange 2010 UM features, including fax with partner fax solutions, voice mail preview and international UM experience (i.e., Outlook Voice Access, Voice Mail Preview and Auto Attendant localized in different languages).

Prior to Exchange, I first started at Microsoft in February 2007 as a TCP/IP Program Manager in Windows Core Networking team. I helped design and manage the development of the TCP/IP features in Windows Vista SP1, Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7, including TCP Receive Window Auto-Tuning, TCP Send Backlog API, Wake-On-LAN and Direct Access.

Prior to Microsoft, I studied at MIT, where I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

In my spare time, I enjoy ballroom dancing (including competitive ballroom), tennis and board games.
