New versions of DST videos are up…

Back in February we have posted a video series on how to use DST 2007 tools. Those were a great success (based on the feedback we have received).

I wanted to let you know that the original post has been updated because Steve Justice has recorded a new video series that walks through the process using new versions of our DST tools. There is also a video talking about August 2007 Windows Cumulative Time Zone Update:

Help! Outlook tool not working as advertised.

The Outlook tool clearly states "use the /FORCEREBASESUPPRESSALLUPDATES option to fix resource mailboxes". However when I run TZMOVE with that option I get the following error:

"Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid."

This error is also returned when I try the /FORCEREBASESUPPRESSEXCHANGEUPDATES options.

I have tried downloading V2 again and checked the file versions against the doco in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931667. All tells me I’m running V2, but those options don’t work! How can I fix resource mailboxes without those switches?

Being able to run TZMOVE.EXE with /? or -? and have it return the command line options would be great, but that just returns the error "Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid." as well.
