Filterable properties in Exchange Server 2007 RTM

Evan Dodds posted a very good reference kind of post on his blog – talking about what the filterable properties are in Exchange 2007 RTM. He provides the reference tables for the following:

  • RecipientFilter
  • Get-CASMailbox
  • Get-Contact
  • Get-DistributionGroup
  • Get-DynamicDistributionGroup
  • Get-Mailbox
  • Get-MailContact
  • Get-MailPublicFolder
  • Get-MailUser
  • Get-Message
  • Get-Queue
  • Get-Recipient
  • Get-UMMailbox
  • Get-User
  • Get-Group

To see it all, please go here.

PS. The one that many people ask for is called “MemberOfGroup” which Evan also covered separately here

I’ve got an mailbox question for everyone, we’re starting to load up our lab environment with a clean Exchange 2007 install, and I was creating some mailboxes for our conference rooms.  When I went through the properties, they have OWA, MAPI and ActiveSync enabled by default.  I expect that we’ll keep MAPI on so appointments can be accepted and our reception staff can manage the boxes, however how do we make sure OWA is disabled by default.  We’ve got close to 300 conference rooms to create, and I’d rather change the settings before we start importing rather than go back and make a batch update…
