The June 2004 editions of the Exchange SDK are now available


Microsoft and the Exchange team are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the June 2004 editions of the Software Development Kits for Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003. The following are now available:

The June 2004 edition of the Exchange 2003 SDK provides new and updated documentation and sample code. Included in this release are tasks for creating appointments and meeting requests using WebDAV, as well as numerous bug fixes and clarifications.

    So if I have a MAPI based application built with the exchnage SDK, do I have to compile it once with the EDK for 2000 and once with the EDK for 2003 and distribute seperate binaries? Will applications built with EDK for Ex2003 work with Ex2000? If so, why are there 2 versions?

    There are new versions because there have been some things added (Exchange 2003 version) and there were fixes in both vesions.
