Evan returns

I've been neglecting my blog, it's true. I have spent the last 3 weeks going around to various MS support sites and training some of our support engineers, so I suppose I can use that as an excuse. Why, just yesterday when I was in the Redmond office I ran into KC, who snidely (but aptly) remarked on my single post in a month being nothing more than a link to Carol's cluster posting on the Exchange Team blog. Zing. Score one for KC, but she's right! [editors note - snidely like “slyly disparaging“, not a bad thing. See comments below :D]

That said, I resolve to at least try to do better. I've got a whole bunch of stuff I'm excited to share in the next few weeks. For starters, what great new information was I providing to our support engineers? Well, the training topic was Exchange 2003 SP1. You may have noticed the “Overview of Exchange 2003 SP1” webcast scheduled for June 16th, 2004. Logically, this should lead you to realize that SP1 will (hopefully!) be available by no later than Mid-June. We've got LOTS of great new stuff coming with SP1, and since I've been the beta support engineer for this release, I look forward to talking technically about bits and pieces of it here on this blog.

Plus, I've queued up a few more cluster topics to chat about that I expect will find their way onto my blog, so keep watch for that as well. In any case, red-eye flight home from Redmond, jet-lag, etc... Have a great weekend!
