New Antimalware Engine is planned for release on 21 July 2015

As part of the regular updating of our antimalware technology to address the latest in the threat landscape, MMPC is planning to release a new antimalware engine on the 21st of July 2015.

Affected products: Windows Defender, System Center Endpoint Protection, Microsoft Security Essentials, Forefront Endpoint Protection, Windows Intune Endpoint Protection.

The Engine Version will be in the range of 1.1.1190X.0.

NOTE: Microsoft Forefront Client Security has been formally retired per the support lifecycle policy. Consequently, there will be no further engine or signature updates available for this product.
