In this EDUCAUSE Live! free hour-long session, “Microsoft Accessibility: Technology for Everyone, Microsoft Chief Technology Officer, Cameron Evans and Rob Sinclair, Microsoft Chief Accessibility Officer, will lead a conversation on accessibility and what it means to education decision-makers at all levels.
Technology has the potential to change individual lives and entire communities when people have effective access to use it. As our global society becomes increasingly more diverse and dependent on technological innovations to access, connect, and participate in the digital economy, accessibility cannot be an afterthought or bolt-on solution to products or services. It has to be incarnate in the DNA and philosophy of design, engineering, user testing, and support of new, existing, and legacy products.
