Code for Honor ‘14 – Meet the winners who define gold standard in software!

The grand finale of Code for Honor, the inaugural edition of Microsoft’s Solution Excellence Awards 2014, was held in Bangalore sometime ago!

What a fantastic experience it was. So many ideas, so much talent and such efficient and innovative use of technologies – both Microsoft and non-Microsoft – We were truly humbled!

Code for Honor was created to recognize excellence in the development of software solutions by small & medium-sized Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), especially those that have embraced a Cloud-first, Mobile-first approach. The competition included various stages, including videos of solution prototypes, telephone interviews, in-person presentations at the pre-final round in 3 cities, and eventually the final judging round in Bangalore. All 25 finalists showcased their solutions at the awards ceremony.

Key Highlights of Code for Honor 2014:

While the registrations came from over 170 cities/towns, solutions were submitted from over 80 cities/towns in India – making us feel proud about the spread of ISVs across India.

We reviewed over a 1000 solutions and their videos, discussed the solution architecture, deployment plan, business plan, and go to market with the developers and watched many of these solutions being built from just a concepts to working prototypes!
