Important changes to SMSE/D licensing and pricing
Licensing:
Two important new server management capabilities will be available through purchasing Server Management Suite Enterprise (SMSE) and Server Management Suite Datacenter (SMSD) licenses.
- System Center Service Manager 2010 will be a new component of SMSE & SMSD when it is released in the first half of calendar 2010.
- Opalis software will be granted by the Opalis subsidiary to any new or existing SMSE or SMSD license with active Software Assurance coverage as of December 10, 2009.
Pricing:
The prices of SMSE/SMSD will go up on July 1, 2010 so purchase or renew now to take advantage of current prices!
