I get error "item not found" on a recurring appointment. What is wrong?


Q: we applied the CDO patch and ran the exchange tool last Sunday.  Our IT admin assistance who was and still is the owner on a conf room resource when trying to edit a direct book recurring appointment through the calendar view gets an error “item not found”
A: At this point, the best solution would be to delete (if necessary) and recreate the appointment.
