Has the ordered of running tools been reversed?

Q: I have a question about using the Exchange rebasing tool version 2. For the previous release of the tool the deployment sequence was: Windows Server OS patch, Exchange patch and after that run the rebasing tool. Now the order has reversed
A: Its best to rebase and then run the other tools. Here is the recommended order

1. Patch Server OS

2. Patch Client OS

3. Rebase

4. Patch CDO

That order reduces the risk of reoccurring appointments in OWA being impacted
