can we apply the actual Server OS registry changes to the Exchange servers today and wait to install the Client OS and run the rebasing tool a week from now?

Q: We have an Exchange 2000 environment, can we apply the actual Server OS registry changes to the Exchange servers today and wait to install the Client OS and run the rebasing tool a week from now, specifically are there consequences to doing it this way
A: There should be no problem doing that as long as you do not install the Exchange CDO patch until after the rebasing tool has been run.
