8 things about windows 8: microsoft account integration

Windows 8 brings some obvious and not so obvious changes.  One that I can’t wait for is the Microsoft Account Integration.  Imagine all of your personal devices now connected easily with one another using a single account.  Imagine being able to connect that personal account with a work account to integrate those experiences.  Each person at our house has a primary device, but often uses a “family” or secondary device for one reason or another.  Having to explain to the kids “save it to Skydrive” will go away in Windows 8.  Their favorites will just follow them from device to device.

The mail app is another great example of this integration – especially as I transition to touch only or touch + keyboard devices.
