25 apps for christmas–paint

i guess there was room for it after all – microsoft paint has always been an application i come back to for one reason of another.  on touch screen/tablet computers, it allows you to write your name as well as draw pictures.  it’s always allowed me to capture screen shots (using print screen or alt+print screen) and even though there are other ways to do this, i still use paint to capture and edit screen shots.  at some point paint could open and save in the jpeg file format (i take this for granted now).  in windows 7 paint got a face lift (screen shot below).  how can you make a list of 25 apps without paint?
