windows 7 wednesday tip!

hopefully you’ve heard about the windows key + p shortcut to enter the display switch application, but did you know you can setup a shortcut on your desktop and even your taskbar?

right click on a blank area of the desktop

point to new

left click on shortcut

type displayswitch and left click next or press enter

left click finish or press enter

to add it to your taskbar, right click on your new shortcut, and left click on pin to taskbar

when you double click on the shortcut you created, this is what you’ll see

displayswitch shortcut on the taskbar – no more memorizing windows key + p!
