gateway lt series netbook – now running windows 7

over the weekend i blogged about a great netbook deal – and currently it’s exclusively at best buy.  the lt3114u or lt3103u both have a 250 gb hard drive and 2 gb of ram.  i’ve got the cherry red one and it’s now running windows 7 home premium.

don’t get me wrong – this isn’t my desktop (or even powerful laptop) replacement, but it has moved up to my primary personal machine for productivity tasks (like this blog post!)

update: i just noticed the dell inspiron 11z which looks like it has addressed my key issues with previous generation netbooks as well.  the gateway was at a better price point, but with the holiday season fast approaching – stay tuned…
