best netbook so far

i’ve become a big fan of netbooks lately.  they are light and inexpensive and some come with reasonable hard drives (160 gb in many models) but up until recently i’ve had three complaints – 1) windows xp home 2) limited ram and 3) resolution.  both of these were recently fixed with the gateway lt series netbook.  2 gb ram, 250 gb hard disk drive and 1366 x 768 resolution.  it’s running windows vista basic quite well, but with an amd athlon 64 bit processor, it will be my first test of 64 bit windows 7 on a netbook.  look for future posts about this amazing netbook soon and add another installation of windows 7 soon.

now off to the smart home exhibit at the chicago museum of science and industry (my favorite museum ever…)
