joel schoenberg's desktop insiders technical briefing

one of my counterparts, joel schoenberg has a desktop insiders blog.  joel has been one of the mentors i've had in my three years at microsoft and we have a common history at one of the solution providers in the midwest.  joel and his family were recently in chicago and we spent some time with them downtown at navy pier.  our kids really enjoyed meeting their kids and going on a boat around the chicago river and hearing about all the very tall buildings.
