windows vista performance part 2

readyboost is your friend!  i've been making some adjustments on my 2 gb and 4 gb work laptop lately and have newly discovered readyboost.  the 4 gb laptop is using one of the new 64 gb solid state hard drive and is the smallest hard drive i've had in a notebook in over 4 years.  turning off the pagefile is something i haven't done in most of my other systems, but on the 2 gb computer started having low memory messages (which i haven't seen these in over 10 years).  making a couple adjustments fixed these, but with 2 gb i don't want to make adjustments.  added a 1 gb stick with 280 mb set aside for readyboost (the amount i had limited my page file to) and now i'm back working without low memory warnings.
