reflecting on two and half years at microsoft

the end of april marks my two and a half year anniversary at microsoft as a full time employee, but years ago a clear path towards microsoft emerged.  i was certified on windows nt 4.0 in 1998 as a mcse after 5 years as a network administrator of microsoft networks.  in 2000 i obtained my mct and started teaching microsoft courses.  along the way i added all sorts of other acronyms to my signature line (mcsa - one of the first 500 certified, mcdst and most recently mcts and mcitp).  so apparently i spent 15 years and thousands of hours in preparation for a job at microsoft.  the final three months i spent time learning all i could about microsoft and  came across three excellent sites to prepare for my interviews:  blogs.msdn.com/jobsblog/ https://channel9.msdn.com and of course the careers site at www.microsoft.com/careers/
