The Gartner IT PPM 2009 Magic Quadrant is Out

me I’m excited to share with you that the Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Project and Portfolio Management, 2009, published recently, and Gartner placed Microsoft in the Leaders’ quadrant.

This year's Magic Quadrant acknowledges emerging IT planning and control and application portfolio management integration support, two (but not the only) routes for expanding PPM systems.

Microsoft believes Gartner’s findings are further proof that we are effectively delivering on our commitment to provide an end-to-end PPM solution that helps customers select and execute investments that align with their strategic priorities.

Even amid the global economic downturn and rapidly changing marketplace, we are thrilled to have not only maintained, but enhanced our placement within the Leaders’ quadrant this year.

We believe our continued placement in the Leader’s quadrant is, in many ways, recognition of the success of our partners, and demonstrates that the Microsoft EPM is helping organizations to reduce costs, enhance operational efficiency, drive growth and improve business performance.

I hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if you have any questions. You can find this and additional analyst reports at:  https://www.microsoft.com/presspass/itanalyst/default.mspx.
