Open XML für Office XP und Office 2003

Mit Office 2007 stellt Microsoft als neues Dateiformat Microsoft Office Open XML vor. Damit der reibungslose Dateiaustausch mit Nutzern älterer Office-Versionen gewährleistet ist, kann man das Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats (Beta 2) herunterladen und installieren. Damit können dann auch Anwendungen aus Office XP und Office 2003 das neue Dateiformat direkt lesen und schreiben:
