Exchange als weiteres Mailsystem für einen gemeinsamen Domain-Namensraum
In den Newsgroups wird sehr oft die Frage gestellt, wie man den Exchange-Server dazu bringen kann, nicht allein authorativ für den verwendeten DNS-Namensraum zuständig zu sein. In vielen Szenarien wird mit Postfächern bei einem ISP gearbeitet, wo einige Mitarbeiter direkt mit diesen Postfächern arbeiten. Anwender, die direkt mit dem Exchange-Server arbeiten, bekommen dann einen Unzustellbarkeitsbericht, da der Exchange-Server die extern verwendeten Adressen intern nicht zustellenkann.
Die Lösung des Problems ist eigentlich relativ simple - man sollte nur darauf achten, nicht unfreiwillig einen Mailloop zu bauen. Mein Kollege Dennis Swenson hat dazu einmal eine Liste der relevanten Artikel aus der Microsoft Knowledgebase zusammengestellt:
