Microsoft and Novell announce broad collaboration on Windows & Linux interoperability & support..

Just stumbled across this and had to share it (Microsoft & Novell are sharing patents and jointly working towards enhanced interoperability).  Steve Ballmer says that “it will bridge the divide between open source and proprietary source software”.   There’s a webcast of the announcement on the link.
