Join in on the Social Media Activities at PASS Summit 2011

PASS Summit 2011 starts this Wednesday and we’re very excited to share all the great content to attendees and the rest of the community who will be tuning in via the web. The SQL Server and Microsoft BI social teams will be present at the PASS Summit and will be very busy getting the word out to the community. Here’s a rundown of what’s going on!

We’ll be tweeting updates during the event. Be sure you’re following the @SQLServer and @MicrosoftBI twitter handles to stay up to date on course schedules, keynote updates, content links, and retweets from our awesome community!

SQL Server / Microsoft BI TweetUp

We are holding the first ever SQL Server / Microsoft BI TweetUp from 5-7pm PT on Thursday, October 13th 2011 at Rock Bottom Brewery (just prior to the party at Gameworks). We will have members of our engineering, product management and marketing teams on hand for you to engage with and talk about SQL Server Code Name “Denali”! The official hashtag for this TweetUp is #MStweetup, please include this in tweets referring to the event.

We will be taking over Rock Bottom’s bar area from 5-7pm and will be providing free drinks and appetizers along with special gifts for the first 100 attendees. Additionally, we will be doing an on-site raffle (via Twitter on @SQLServer) for great prizes including a Microsoft Kinect, the new Microsoft Touch Mouse, and other great prizes.*

Bring your smartphones loaded up with your favorite Twitter apps to join in on the fun and share what you learn about SQL Server Code Name “Denali” at the event. Be sure to be following @SQLServer and @MicrosoftBI for updates and to win prizes if you are at the TweetUp!

Due to space restrictions, we are limited to 200 attendees, so don’t be late!
