What I Did On My Summer Vacation

Remember that essay from grade school?  Well, it isn't really summer anymore, but I took a few days off this week and spent them in San Francisco.  I'd never been before and decided since I was going to be delivering an event there anyway, I might as well take a few vacation days and see the sights.  I ended up spending a significant amount of time sitting on my balcony enjoying my view (I got out and saw the city as well).  Wonder why?  You can see here.  You'll need to install the Microsoft Live Labs Photosynth viewer, but it is worth it.  Photosynth is a very cool service that lets you EASILY stitch pictures together to make an interactive viewing experience, as you can see from my sample above.

And if you want to see something a little "synthier," check out Becky Hale's Stonehenge synth.  WOW!

Enjoy.  :)

EDIT:  Once I got going, I didn't want to stop making Synths, so I added another, which was my view of the Inner Harbor in Baltimore when I was there for an event.  (Do you see a pattern in my picture taking?)  This one actually turned out cooler because even though the pictures were not as good, there was more depth.
