Vista - don't knock it until you have tried it

One of the resounding messages I got when at our internal Microsoft conference in Atlanta a few weeks ago was that we were drawing a line in the sand when it comes to Vista. What they meant by this was that we will no longer take any negative feedback on it unless "justified"

It seems this has started to happen as a saw a newsfeed from the NCC which said Microsoft calls anti-Vista report 'schizophrenic'

I also noticed that James has done an interesting post on Vista and how it is blamed for all things when it comes to projecting issues but that these aren't always (or even often) valid

This is where we come to the crux of the problem...perception vs reality. We know from surveys that people that have actually used Vista are much happier with those that have not i.e. people that haven't used it, have heard opinions and made theirs on these

UPDATE:

I just read on Jason's blog about the "Mojave Experiment" which looks at the reaction of people to Vista when they don't know its Vista! Some interesting results!
