Just before the new year, we launched the UK Heroes Happen Here website, which is where you can keep up to date on the latest launch events and go there to register. We expect registration for the launch event to go live in about a week so keep your eyes peeled

The website gives you the theme of the launch and as you can see its all about YOU....IT professionals and developers that is! You have all helped the products become what they are today and are the ones on the "frontline" when it comes to deploying and managing them so the launch event is all about this.

This is also where we will be launching the "Virtual Launch Experience" in a few months. This is an amazing experience built using Windows Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008 and Silverlight and enables you to view the keynote and 12 breakout sessions online, as well as visit partner and Microsoft booths. It also has some brilliant quirky things i.e. you can go round the booths and collect things into your backpack (just as you would at an real event)
