New Article: Enable Collect Logs in Microsoft Lync

So you have all your users happily running Microsoft Lync 2010. Well, mostly happily. Every once in a while, not too often of course, users find that maybe they experience a little bit of difficulty with calls through Lync. Difficulties like dropped calls, audio or video quality issues, and so on. Fortunately these same users can help you, the administrator, troubleshoot and resolve the issue. All you need to do is enable your users to collect call logs.

As it turns out, that's not a difficult thing to do. You just have to know the "insider trick." Okay, it's not actually a trick, it's just a few Windows PowerShell commands you need to enter from the Lync Server Management Shell. The article Collect Logs in Microsoft Lync  tells you all about collecting logs from Lync and shows you how to enable this capability for your users. https://blogs.technet.com/b/csps/archive/2010/12/10/collectlogs.aspx
