Windows PowerShell for OCS 2007 R2

The big launch event for Lync Server 2010 is only two days away. But just to reassure everyone that we haven't forgotten about all of you out there who are running Office Communications Server 2007 R2, we decided to give you your own little section of this site. Yes, true, the Lync Server PowerShell blog is devoted to helping you to use the brand-new implementation of Windows PowerShell built into Lync Server 2010. But did you know that you can use Windows PowerShell to manage earlier versions? You don't have your own custom cmdlets, but what you do have is WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation). Using Windows PowerShell with WMI you can write scripts to manage OCS 2007 R2.

And so, because we don't like to leave anyone out, we've started a new section here on the Lync Server PowerShell blog devoted to PowerShell with OCS 2007 R2. Thanks to Nick Smith and Thomas Laciano for giving us some scripts to get this thing off the ground.
