OSD Video Tutorial: Part 5 – The Logical Task Sequence

This session is part five of an ongoing series focusing on Operating System Deployment in Configuration Manager.  This session covers the flow of the task sequence, the use of 'continue on error', conditions and variables in controlling the progress of the task sequence.  The session ends by walking through an error handling section that can be added to any task sequence.

The video linked below was prepared by Steven Rachui, a Principal Premier Field Engineer focused on manageability technologies.

Next in the series, Steven will focus on driver management during image deployment.

Hi and thank you for this great series of OSD guides. I’ve notice that part VI is missing, it’s just a mistake or did you willingly skip it ? 🙂 Best Regards.

    1. Hello RBogdan, yes I intentionally skipped part 6. As my statement in the post for part 7 says, the video that Steve recorded as part 6 will be published later in our Deeper Dive series. This is because we decided to group the videos together for these series in a slightly different sequence than the order in which Steve originally recorded them.
