OSD Video Tutorial: Part 3 – Task Sequencing

This is session three of a series that details the Operating System Deployment feature of Configuration Manager.  This session focuses on the task sequence.   A detailed discussion of a basic image deployment task sequence is provided along with a review of all default task sequence steps.

Next in the series, Steven will discuss the components of OS deployment and demo the various image deployment mechanisms.

    You must update your videos to latest build configmgr current branch and mdt 8450

      Thanks for watching and I hope the content was helpful. In the ideal world, I agree that it would be nice to have all of these videos on the latest build of released code. These videos were built several years ago thus the reason for using ConfigMgr 2012 in many of those at the start of the series. I am releasing them here based on feedback that content such as this would be helpful to the community. The specific detail discussed really hasn’t changed between ConfigMgr 2012 and Current Branch. As we progress through the series there will be topics where particular capabilities are version dependent and my environment will reflect the requirements.
