Operations Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 Release Candidate - RELEASED!

System Center Operations Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 Release Candidate is now available generally from the Microsoft Connect site https://connect.microsoft.com/systemcenter

Updates to the main System Center Operations Manager 2007 page  https://www.microsoft.com/systemcenter/opsmgr should be coming shortly to advertise its availability.

All you will need to do is to register via Windows Live ID to download it via Connect.

 

This release will be fully supported.  Support options include:

  • Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) – you can use your standard support options to get support on this edition
  • Newsgroups – there is a dedicated SP1 newsgroup: Microsoft.public.opsmgr.sp1
  • Hotfixes requests that are accepted will be incorporated into the final RTM version

This release is fully upgradable to the final RTM version of the Service Pack. 

 

What's available on Connect:

Opsmgr 2007 SP1 RC Upgrade Package - Allows upgrade of RTM build 5000 Opsmgr07 installations. Can be upgraded to full SP1 in Feb 08.

Opsmgr 2007 SP1 RC 120 Eval Package - Slipstreamed 120-day evalation SP1 RC. Can be upgraded to full SP1 in Feb 08.

OpsMgr 2007 RC Authoring Console - Release Candidate of the Authoring Console
